Our Mission Statement ...

The Eumundi Museum is a professional institution whose purpose is to promote awareness and knowledge of the District's natural and cultural heritage, thereby stimulating a full appreciation and perception of the history of the District to both visitor and resident alike. The Museum develops regular programs and exhibitions (both temporary and permanent) that increase the profile of the Museum whilst promoting the understanding, enjoyment and education of the District. Furthermore, the Museum realises that it is not a static institution and is therefore dedicated towards conducting regular and objective assessments of its collection and operation.

The District has been identified as the areas bounded by Belli to the west, Verrierdale and Doonan to the east, Main Camp to the north and North Arm to the south.'

The Eumundi Museum has a large collection of social history objects , stone and wooden artefacts , natural history specimens , maps , documents , family histories plus a comprehensive collection of more than 3,000 photographs depicting the development of Eumundi and the District.
